Description:

St. Xavier’s Academy organized a heartfelt Farewell Day Ceremony to bid an affectionate goodbye to the outgoing Class X Batch (2025–2026). The event was filled with emotions, joy, cultural vibrance, and cherished memories, marking the beginning of a new journey for our students as they step forward toward their future.

The programme commenced with the auspicious Lighting of the Lamp, followed by a graceful Prayer Dance, setting a serene and meaningful tone for the celebration. Students presented a variety of cultural performances, including Sambalpuri Dance, Santhali Dance, and Nagpuri Dance, reflecting the rich diversity and spirit of our nation.

Special performances such as the Mobile Theme Dance by UKG, the energetic Hindi Remix Dance by LKG, and a powerful Drama presentation based on Road Safety added charm and excitement to the occasion. A touching segment of Words of Gratitude was delivered by Inshika Kumari of Standard IX, expressing heartfelt appreciation and acknowledging the outgoing students as a constant source of guidance and inspiration to their juniors.

The event was further enriched by an inspiring Message by the Manager Rev. Fr. Sushil Tigga and the Principal Sr. Juliet C.M.C. Address, encouraging the students to remain confident, disciplined, and committed to excellence in life. As a token of love and blessings, the school presented gifts to the Class X students, making the moment even more memorable.

The farewell ceremony concluded with an emotional Farewell Speech by Miss Khushbu Kumari, a melodious Farewell Song, and the Final Year’s Talk, leaving everyone with a sense of pride, nostalgia, and best wishes for the future.

The Class X students also expressed their gratitude by presenting gifts to the all staffs and donating a waiting chair to the school. The celebration included a joyful cake-cutting ceremony, followed by snacks for all.

At the end of the stage programme, students of Standards VII to X enjoyed a scrumptious lunch in the schoolyard, while students from LKG to VI were delighted with lollipops—a sweet gesture to share the joy of the occasion with everyone.

St. Xavier’s Academy wishes the outgoing Class X students great success in their board examinations and future endeavours. They will always remain an integral part of the Xavier family as they continue their journey “Towards Excellence.”
